Teenage Iraqi refugees focus on a career in Damascus exercise

Most of you should have read this for English week 7 but it really opened my eyes as to what technology is and it’s use.

Here we are complaining about using Mac computers and the intracies of WordPress and these adolescent Iraqi refugees are estatic to be able to use something we all take for granted… a digital camera… to shape the rest of their lives!

A majority of the children and schools that I have a close experience with are extremely well off in comparison but still, I think if we, as teachers, take technology even down to the basics such as using a digital camera (properly!) children in war-torn or developed nations can benefit.
